Back in the good ole' USA, but more Oz pics to come

Been away so long I hardly knew the place, Gee it's great to be back home. As you can see everybody at home has been bored and lonely without me. CC looking out for my return. I have posted Australia pictures on the slide show, but will continue with memories and pictures of Australia for awhile in my next posts. If you get tired of my yabbering, let me know.

Let's take a shower

This is Merlin and I in the shower. Yes, Merl thinks he is a person, so of course he takes a shower each day. We have a walk in shower and walk in he does, each and every day! He walks through the shower several times while I'm showering. When he's through, he is truely Mr. Clean because he is dripping wet! He walks through and sits right in the middle of the bath matt, so by the time I'm through singing in the shower I get to step out onto a wet matt.
All the while, CC is watching, thinking, "no way are you getting me in that water!" Anyway this is our morning bonding time. Merl in the shower and CC watching every move I make. Up there on the counter helping me brush my hair, put on my makeup, purring all the while.

Happiness is relaxing on the sheep skin!

This is CC which stands for Crazy Cat, Carol's Cat, Cool Cat, Capricious Cat, Charming Cat, Chewing Cat, Coordinated Cat, Cocky Cat, Curious Cat and Cautious Cat. She came to us before Merlin, so even though she is much smaller consideres herself Numero Uno in our household. In this picture she is Cautious Cat in hiding when company are here.

This is Merlin. He is about 19 pounds, one big dude!

His nick-names include: Merlin the Large, the Gentle Giant, Merlin the Magnificant. He thinks he is a person, greets all friends and strangers at the door, takes a shower each day, and follows me around like a dog.
