This is the old Fort parade ground in Old San Juan. Kites and family picnics are parading instead of soldiers. It is a magical place to fly a kite! We didn't bring kites on this day because we weren't going to be there very long. However a very nice lady gave Rowan her kite and another kite just found us!

This picture actually has many kites in it, but most of them are not big enough to show up in this picture. The fort and parade ground is on a finger of land and so is surrounded by ocean on all but one side.
